damn, its close to 80 degrees here in Houston with about 95% humidity. Feels like a dagum rain forest outside. No breeze at all. It was about 49 degrees at night last weekend in Mexico DF when i went to visit my fiance.

I'm at just under 6000'. We cool off at night anyway and a cold front came through today.

Funny thing is, that shot was from last year, and out power had been out for a few days from Hurricane Sandy.
Not so different that Detroit I guess.

Sorry to hear that. I know Sandy really caused some problems for a lot of people. You folks back to normal?

OMG, no, no, no.... We are 100 miles inland. We just lost power when the winds knocked a tree down on it's way up the coast.
We were back to normal within 24 hours.

Good to see a Pierce 105' PAL. Looks good with the low side with side stacked ladders and a compartment in place of pump!

Wow, you know a lot about them. You must be a firefighter?

No, not a firefighter. I am a designer at Pierce, working in the aerial rear body group.
